I don't see the point of cutting Sanchez and his suggestion to keep Revis until the beginning of the season was misguided. Best case scenario is Revis plays (without a new contract) at the same level he played at previously and has the same value the Jets got for him from the Bucs. <br /><br />Worst case is Revis holds out or isn't the same guy and then the Jets lose leverage and don't even get a 1st round pick for him through trade. He will count against the cap just the same if he's on the team, cut, or even traded.
