Hi all, sorry I haven't posted for a while and, I won't lie to you, I may not post for a while either. Just a quick stop today to bring you this article from Ted Keith. It's a power rankings forr Sports Illustrated and I spotted this.
Somebody throw a bucket of ice water on the Cardinals already because they are on fire. They put together the best winning percentage in baseball in August (.769) and increased their lead in the NL Central from a half-game at the start of the month to 10 1/2 by the end of the month. The biggest reason has been their phenomenal pitching; Cards hurlers posted a big-league best 3.06 ERA for August. That would make pitching coach Dave Duncan as much of an MVP for this team as Albert Pujols.
No.
Let's see, I will add with you.
ReplyDeleteA big freaking no. It would mean Dave Duncan is doing his job but he is not the MVP as much as Pujols.
Good to hear from you again J.S. I like the J.D. Salinger like appearances.
Does that dude Fred Trigger still post?
ReplyDeleteon occasion I still do, but Ben kind of has a little schedule going. Mon-Peter King Tues-Peter King Wed-TMQ Thurs-Joe Chat Friday-Plaschke. Thus I just kind of stay out of the way and if something catches my fancy I throw a post together.
ReplyDeleteI don't have to do the schedule thing, it just works out that way. Everyone post whenever the heck they want to post, I really don't care.
ReplyDeleteI really don't mind when anyone posts, I just don't want us to bury each other, that's all. Seriously, anyone can post any day they want. Monday doesn't have to be MMQB day, I have no problem doing it Tues or whenever. I want you guys to be able to contribute if you want to when you want to.
Seriously, I don't mind if you put something up a certain day. I have such limited time to post sometime to post something, if I see a chance I put something up for the next day. I am not trying to hog the blog or anything, if I know you are writing something, you can just tell me.
It's just that I had look at some posts recently and saw none of Fred's handiwork...I haven't posted properly here since I think April or so but am getting an itch...
ReplyDeleteYou guys can post whenever you want. It's no thing. I had just scheduled a couple of posts while I was away b/c Fred didn't think he was going to be able to post anything.
ReplyDeleteIf either of you have anything to post just tell me and I can schedule anything I am doing for the next day or so.
